Most Enneagram assessments sort you into one of nine boxes and hand you the same description as everyone else in it. Ours reads every dimension of how you're wired — down to the subtype level — and writes a report about you, and only you.
Personality tests describe what you do. The Enneagram reveals why — the core motivation you're chasing and the core fear you're avoiding. That's what drives your choices, your stress, your relationships and the patterns that keep repeating.
The Enneagram describes nine core types. Each one is organized around a core motivation (what you're reaching for) and a core fear (what you're trying to avoid). Everyone has a little of all nine, but one sits at the center of how you see the world.
The types are grouped into three centers, the place you tend to lead from first:
On top of your type sit your wing (a neighboring type that flavors yours), your instinctual subtype (what you pay most attention to: security, belonging or one-to-one connection), and the paths you move along when you're growing or under stress. That's why two people with the same number can look so different.
The nine types, from The Bettermeant Guide to the Enneagram.
Most people aren't missing the what — they're missing the how. When you understand how you're wired, you can finally unlock the changes you've been trying to make. Sometimes all it takes is guidance and focus from expertise built on rigorous study of the Enneagram.
